Two notable pieces of Doctor Who info this week, both regarding WYBE 35 in Philadelphia, PA. Bad news first - remember how they were going to air Mawdryn Undead episodes 1+2 last week, making up for not airing them on January 27? If you watched last week, you'll find it looked suspiciously like BlackOrchid. WYBE insists that they are back on track, and will absolutely air Mawdryn Undead episodes 1+2 this weekend. Here's hoping they finally have it right. Now, the good news. WYBE Philadelphia is going from an 18 hour a day schedule to a 24 hour schedule beginning in March. (No telling if this will result in extra Doctor Who episodes each week yet.) To celebrate the change, they are having a live "Pajama Jam" at the station on Friday March 2, starting at 11PM. Intermixed with seeing politicians, show hosts, and viewers in their pajamas, they'll be airing selected episodes of their popular shows - including Doctor Who! What else is there to say? Tegan refers to Snakedance, the previous story. These episodes feature the first appearance by Brigadier Lethbridge Stewart since Terror of the Zygons? Hmm. And we see that the Brig's involvement with the Doctor has rubbed off, at least in unusual tastes in cars. |

Shape-shifting aliens are impersonating the denizens around Loch Ness to cover up invasion plans. Fri Planet of Evil eps 1+2 of 4 Last rerun in 1987. When a Morestran ship comes to the rescue of a scientific expedition, they find almost everyone dead, and two aliens wandering around the scene of the crime. One of the aliens has a long, brown scarf. |
